Brief Itinerary - Ephesus Shore Tours:

Private Ancient City of Ephesus Tour
Pick up at Kusadasi/Izmir cruise ship pier or your hotel to begin this excursion. Visit the House of Virgin Mary, where she is said to have spent her final years. Continue on to the white-marble Ancient City of Ephesus, to see spectacularly restored monuments such as the great Library of Celsus, the Agora, Hadrian's Gate, Odeon, Trajan Fountain, Domitianus Temple, Theater and Roman Latrines. After lunch, enjoy a short stroll through the picturesque Village of Sirince, where you can see the beautiful wooden houses, traditional village lifestyle and dress and taste the locally produced wine. The final stop on the tour visits Isabey Mosque, a classic example of Seljuk Turkish architecture with intricate carvings. Drop off to the cruise ship pier/hotel.

Izmir port is a busy port in Turkey for this large bustling Aegean city. A daily excursion to Ephesus can be made and it is about one hour away.
